About Noa - Forest Row Doula

Welcome to my website, where I share my deep passion for everything related to pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal journey. I'm Noa, a dedicated doula residing in Forest Row with my husband and three children. Originally from Belgium, I embraced a new chapter in my life when I moved to England in 2015.

Why I Became a Doula:

My journey into the world of supporting families during their transformative experiences began at 18 when I embarked on my first year of midwifery. However, I quickly realized that the conventional medical system didn't align with my vision of providing personalized, woman-centered care. My desire to be truly 'with woman' led me to seek an alternative path.

In my early 20s, I worked as a live-in nanny, offering support to diverse families in the crucial early stages of parenthood. It was during this time that I discovered the profound impact a doula can have on the birthing experience. The realization struck – this was the role I had been yearning for. Following my heart, I decided to become a doula.

My Approach to Birth Support:

I believe in providing compassionate, non-judgmental support to families during their unique journey. As a doula, my focus is on empowering individuals to make informed choices, creating a safe and nurturing environment for both parents and babies.
